We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to manage day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar structure manufacturing, lean production systems, and team leadership. This is a critical role focused on achieving production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Lead and oversee all aspects of production on the shop floor, ensuring daily targets are met.
- Supervise and optimize job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various stages of manufacturing.
- Design and implement layout plans for new projects including fixtures, gauges, and machinery installation.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs.
- Ensure in-process inventory management and a smooth production flow.
- Coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful development and integration of new products or structures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of solar mounting structures and fabrication techniques.
- Experience in handling production machinery, tools, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in production planning software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to renewable energy or solar projects.
- Knowledge of CAD drawings, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
