Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Production Operations Director to lead the manufacturing of spirits at our plant. This role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all plant operations including production, engineering, quality control, logistics, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement business strategies, manage budgets, select equipment, and drive production targets.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance productivity, improve operational efficiency, establish SOPs for safety, quality, and security, and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Quality & Maintenance: Ensure in-process quality control, maintain equipment, and implement corrective actions to address performance bottlenecks.
  • Vendor Management & Compliance: Develop and manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, and facilitate liaisoning with government departments.
  • Team Leadership & HR: Build high-performing teams aligned with company goals, manage industrial relations, labor issues, recruitment, orientation, and training.

Requirements
  • Proven track record in plant management within the alcohol or beverage sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Deep industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Ability to drive business growth and profitability.
