Job Title: Senior Director of IT Operations

About the Job:

The role of Senior Director of IT Operations involves leading the technology backbone that powers learning across schools and internal teams. This is a strategic leadership position where you will define and scale IT infrastructure for hardware operations, ensuring high availability, low TCO, and seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities include building and executing a future-ready hardware strategy, overseeing end-to-end lifecycle of devices, vendor management, tech innovation evaluation, internal IT oversight, team leadership, and infrastructure monitoring.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and hardware operations, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing distributed teams and multi-vendor ecosystems.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale hardware deployments and operations, technical & operational mastery, demonstrated expertise in establishing and managing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, deep understanding of Android-based hardware and network systems.
  • Ability to balance field realities with strategic goals, first-principles thinker who is curious about how future hardware will shape education.
