Purchase Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our purchasing team. This pivotal role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and procure raw materials, components, and consumables for manufacturing operations
  • Evaluate and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Issue and monitor purchase orders according to production schedules and inventory levels
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
  • Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Collaborate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment
  • Maintain documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting
  • Support new product development (NPD) sourcing activities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MBA in Operations Management (Mandatory)
  • Experience: 3–4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment
  • Skills:
  • Effective vendor negotiation and relationship management
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Others)
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
