Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in community marketing and network effects, with a deep understanding of how communities work (Reddit, Quora, Discord, forums, YouTube, and more). They should be able to plan, strategize, and present growth/marketing plans, understand data, and report in spreadsheets/dashboards.
About the Opportunity- This is a full-time role located remotely.
- We are looking for someone who can promote sports and non-sports related products in communities to build initial awareness and buzz.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote products in communities to build initial awareness and buzz.
- Own end-to-end promotional content, process, and reporting framework.
- Brainstorm new communities by potential and project growth plans.
- Communicate with stakeholders and report on project progress.
- Develop a new product launch strategy with growth hacking objectives.
- Suggest product ideas from community conversions and engagement signals.
- Gather feedback on existing products from the community and work with the product team.
- Become a product marketing manager and advocate in the community.
- Handle objections/complaints from the community and turn them into opportunities.
- Deep interest and experience in how communities work.
- Understand business problems related to product launches and suggest solutions.
- Able to plan, strategize, and present growth/marketing plans.
- Understands data and capable of reporting in spreadsheets/dashboards.
- Has a network effect within large communities in getting promotions through.
- Has an ownership mindset and takes initiatives vs waiting.
- Able to define KRAs for self and team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Can pivot strategies based on ongoing results.
- Keeps an eye out for competitors' products and strategies.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive package, including benefits and career growth opportunities.
