Key Role: Data Engineer

Project Overview:

A large-scale project is underway, and we are seeking a skilled data engineer to spearhead the development of complex data pipelines.

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as Big Query, Dataflows, and Dataproc.
  • Utilize Pyspark, Apache Airflow, and ETL processing and transformation techniques to optimize data workflows.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github actions, Docker, and Jenkins to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Integrate with various APIs to design and deploy robust data solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 6+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with expertise in financial or banking systems.

This role requires strong expertise in designing and deploying data pipelines, orchestrating complex workflows, and troubleshooting intricate data components. Proficiency in GCP tools, Python, Java, and API integration is essential for success.

Required Skills:

  • Strong background in data engineering with experience in designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines.
  • Proficient in GCP tools, including Big Query, Dataflows, and Dataproc.
  • Expertise in Pyspark, Apache Airflow, and ETL processing and transformation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  • Strong knowledge of API integration and software architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with distributed systems and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
