Job Overview

A forward-thinking data architect is needed to design and implement innovative data management and analytics solutions utilizing SAP Datasphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate cutting-edge solutions.
  • Create efficient data pipelines and integrations within SAP Datasphere and related systems.
  • Design logical and physical data models, replication flows, ETL processes, and task chains.
  • Manage tenant setup, user roles, object- & row-level security, and metadata catalogs for compliance.
  • Connect SAP and non-SAP systems, develop APIs, and deliver datasets to BI platforms.
  • Implement content and version control across development, test, and production systems using SAP BW Bridge.
  • Optimize model and query performance, monitor data flows, and ensure reliability.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, mentor junior staff, and assist in pre-sales or requirements gathering.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and strong data modeling skills (SQL, CDS, graph).
  • Proficiency in replication, ETL, task chains, and expertise in security design: roles, scopes, cataloging.
  • Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAC, external APIs, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of SAP BTP architecture and cloud security.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Sales).
  • Experience with BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management, ability to work collaboratively in teams and agile environments.
