Cloud Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and deployment of cloud-based data solutions. This role involves overseeing the technical direction of projects, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable and efficient systems using cloud and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable data processing systems in a cloud environment.
  • Architect and implement big data processing pipelines utilizing Apache Spark and cloud-native services.
  • Develop serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services to build efficient and maintainable solutions.
  • Utilize container orchestration tools like Amazon EKS or equivalent to manage microservices-based applications.
  • Design workflow orchestration solutions for managing complex data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration across services.
  • Mentor development teams on Java best practices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of deployed solutions in cloud environments.
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services.
  • Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design.
