About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on Databricks.

  • Design and develop complex data pipelines and ETL processes on Databricks, leveraging expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Leverage knowledge of modern data architecture and cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus) to create robust and efficient data workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, ensuring high data availability and integrity.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in data engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of data from multiple structured and unstructured sources into Delta Lake and cloud data warehouses.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with expertise in Databricks (including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and MLflow).
  • Proven expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, Scala, and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.) and solid experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
