SAP Basis Administrator Role

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. As a seasoned professional in this field, you will play a key role in the migration of our SAP systems to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate SAP systems to the cloud using SWPM export/import, backup/restore, and DMO (SUM tool)
  • Evaluate customer landscapes, knowledge of SAP on cloud, and readiness to migrate customer SAP systems to the cloud
  • Be subject matter expert for migrating SAP workloads on cloud and provide recommendations to overcome blockers
  • Understand technical architecture and solution design
  • Work with backup strategy, patch, note, and migration strategies
  • Have hands-on experience with SAP System Installation, Upgrade, Patching, SAP OS/DB migration, System Performance, and downtime optimization
  • Experience with SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration
  • Experience with SAP infrastructure design (compute, storage, and networking)
  • Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery
  • Experience in SAP High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures
  • Experience in SAP system upgrade, enhancement upgrade, security pack & support packages implementation

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator
  • Hands-on experience with SAP System Installation, Upgrade, Patching, SAP OS/DB migration, System Performance, and downtime optimization
  • Knowledge of SAP on cloud and experience with SAP infrastructure design
  • Ability to evaluate customers' landscape and provide recommendations for migration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
