As a seasoned professional in data engineering, you will lead the development and implementation of large-scale migration projects from on-premise environments to cloud-based platforms.

About This Role:
  • You will design and manage end-to-end data pipelines using industry-leading tools and technologies to orchestrate migration and ETL processes.
  • You will develop and administer scalable, secure cloud storage solutions to store and manage structured and unstructured data during and post-migration.
  • You will utilize advanced data transformation and processing techniques using Python, PySpark, and Azure Databricks / Synapse Spark Pools.
  • You will craft and fine-tune SQL/T-SQL scripts for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and reporting in cloud-based databases.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing workloads and define the best migration approach.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a clear focus on cloud-based workload migration.
  • Deep expertise in: cloud-based data factory, cloud data lake, cloud-based data warehouses, Python, PySpark
  • SSIS – design, development, and migration to cloud-based platforms
