Job Title: SAP Basis Cloud Advisor

About the Role

The position of a Cloud Advisor is an elevated career path for experienced SAP Basis consultants.

  • Key responsibilities include designing and planning SAP landscapes for customers, guiding them on the SAP RISE platform, and collaborating with sales teams to understand customer needs.
  • This role requires working closely with customer leaders and technical teams to discuss landscape architecture.

This is a customer-facing position that demands strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to join meetings, answer technical queries, and present assessments.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess excellent technical knowledge of SAP products, including S/4HANA, HANA Database, MDG, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Candidates should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Validating the technical accuracy of bills of material and ensuring no obsolete versions are selected.
  • Providing feedback to the sales team on bill of material selection.
  • Analyzing early watch reports and technical data to validate hardware selection and sizing.
  • Working closely with sales teams on architecture, landscape, and to-be designs.
  • Sizing the to-be landscape for migrations.
  • Preparing technical assessments, conducting workshops, and answering customer questions.
