Job Description

The role of IT Asset Manager entails overseeing and optimizing the company's IT asset lifecycle using the ServiceNow platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management module to ensure accurate tracking of hardware assets.
  • Managing software licenses, subscriptions, and usage across the organization, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and mitigating audit risks.
  • Creating and managing custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript and other relevant programming languages.
  • Integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other technologies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Asset Management.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform features and capabilities.
General Responsibilities
  • Contributing to process design for Global Asset Management aligned with industry frameworks and best practices.
  • Maintaining an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for hardware assets.
  • Developing asset audit processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
