We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Physiotherapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing academic programs, providing academic and administrative leadership, and ensuring effective clinical training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic Leadership: Develop and implement academic programs in accordance with University, UGC, and statutory council norms.
  • Supervise Curriculum Development: Oversee curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment.
  • Research Guidance: Guide faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums.
  • Clinical Training: Ensure effective clinical training and integration with hospital services.
  • Administrative & Managerial: Oversee day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy Department.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (UGC, State Council, University guidelines).
  • Recruitment: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff performance.
  • Resource Management: Prepare budgets, manage resources, and ensure infrastructure adequacy.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to accreditation standards (NABH, NAAC, etc.).
  • Record Keeping: Maintain proper records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaboration with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy.
  • At least 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
