Academic Leadership Position

Parul University seeks an experienced professional to assume the role of Associate Dean and assist in managing academic, research, and extension programs. This involves collaborating with the Dean and Principals to enhance academic and administrative functions within the faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

a) Assist in curriculum development, guiding the Board of Studies, and ensuring efficient operations align with the Dean's strategic vision.

b) Collaborate with departments to ensure curricula are up-to-date and supervise the regularity of all academic sessions across constituent colleges.

c) Maintain proper decorum and teaching quality in classes and labs within constituent colleges.

d) Implement protocols for examinations conducted by the university in constituent colleges.

e) Analyze department-wise teaching loads and determine requirements for additional teachers.

f) Promote research activities within the faculty and encourage students to engage in research projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

I. Masters in Physiotherapy (M.P.T./M.Th.P./M.Pth./M.Sc. P.T.) with fifteen years total experience.

II. Higher qualification like Ph.D. in any discipline of Physiotherapy recognized by the UGC and published work of high standard in peer-reviewed journals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong academic background, and a proven track record of managing academic programs effectively.

They must be able to work collaboratively with faculty members, students, and administrators to achieve academic goals and promote institutional excellence.
