Job Title: Director of Business Operations

Description:

The Director of Business Operations plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our corporate office. This position requires strong leadership and operational expertise to manage day-to-day activities across various departments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight
    • Manage and optimize the overall performance of the office, including HR, Admin, Finance, Projects, Procurement, and Support Teams.
    • Ensure proper coordination between departments to maintain seamless workflows.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination
    • Promote alignment and synergy among teams to drive business outcomes.
    • Identify and address potential roadblocks to ensure timely resolution.
    • Maintain close collaboration with field operations and office support teams.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all office functions.
    • Standardize document control, filing systems, and reporting formats.
    • Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Reporting and Monitoring
    • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports from all departments.
    • Prepare comprehensive dashboards and updates for senior management.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, productivity, and project delivery support.
  • Team Leadership and Task Allocation
    • Assign and oversee tasks to department heads or coordinators.
    • Track progress, deadlines, and pending work.
    • Ensure team members have necessary resources and support.
  • Compliance and Office Policies
    • Enforce adherence to company policies, rules, and guidelines.
    • Maintain discipline, attendance, and punctuality within the office.
    • Collaborate with HR on employee engagement, conflict resolution, and training needs.
  • Communication and Escalation Handling
    • Serve as the central point of communication between departments and top management.
    • Address operational escalations and ensure prompt resolution.
    • Conduct regular coordination meetings with department heads.
