About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Textile Tech Solutions Manager to join our team at Recover, a leading material sciences company. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming textile waste into sustainable recycled fiber.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for actively identifying and resolving operational challenges, collaborating closely with the Global Tech Support Director to investigate and address customer concerns comprehensively. Additionally, you will manage communication channels with customers, ensuring timely reporting, and contribute to the establishment of efficient workflows to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results.
  2. Collaborate with the Senior Tech Support Manager to investigate complaints and suggestions by obtaining all necessary information from customers and interviewing process supervisors and operators.
  3. Manage all upstream information and communication, ensuring seamless coordination with customers and internal teams.
  4. Establish workflows and work priorities for different customers in coordination with the Global Tech Support Director.
  5. Participate in Tech Support meetings with customers, Tech Support Staff, and other Product Innovation and Sustainability or Sales staff.
  6. Compile customer needs and complaints, and provide regular updates to the Global Tech Support Director.
  7. Elaborate daily reports on customer status and ensure they are up-to-date.
  8. Participate in R&D department activities as needed.
  9. Collaborate with the Quality Department to compile information for quality complaint reports and other Tech Support or Commercial staff.
Competencies Required

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong networking skills with mills and vertical suppliers.
  • Technical knowledge of fibers, yarns, and fabrics.
  • Wide knowledge of textile processing and machinery, particularly yarn spinning systems.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Engineering.
  • At least 8-14 years of experience in international companies.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience working with international customers.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
