Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Textile Designer to join our team at Talent Corner in Lower Parel, Mumbai. As a key member of our fashion design department, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually appealing textile designs that align with current fashion trends and brand aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

1. Textile Design: Develop unique and commercially viable textile designs for a range of products, considering market demand and production capabilities.

2. Pattern Development: Create patterns, prints, and colorways that are both unique and commercially viable, considering market demand and production capabilities.

3. Material Selection: Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select the best materials for textile production, while adhering to cost constraints.

4. Quality Control: Oversee the quality of textile samples and finished products to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.

5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to make informed design decisions.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including fashion designers, production, and marketing, to ensure the successful execution of design concepts.

7. Budget Management: Manage design projects within the specified budget range and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in textile design, preferably in the fashion industry.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong understanding of textiles, materials, and production processes.

Creative flair and the ability to translate concepts into tangible designs.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong attention to detail and quality.
