Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Leader About the Role:This is a leadership position responsible for developing and implementing an effective infrastructure strategy.The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud computing, data center functions, and IT operations management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement infrastructure strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure systems and develop strategies for improvement or leveraging these systems.
  • Negotiate the purchase of software, hardware, and other IT supplies as approved by management.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Interact with senior management/peers on matters requiring acceptance of alternate approaches.
  • Manage outsourced teams for daily operations/activities.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems using in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and periodic DR drills.
  • Maintain working knowledge of server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and network infrastructure.
  • Manage production incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
 Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, including on-premise datacenter and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven program and project management expertise.
  • Excellent planning and execution skills for infrastructure-related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with cloud computing.
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions, including production operations, change control, disaster recovery/business continuity, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, including pros and cons, and migration considerations.
