Project Management Lead Role

This is a challenging opportunity to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop feasibility study reports aligned with project requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to review and refine them.
  • Work closely with the design team to assemble detailed specifications compliant with project objectives, ensure timely delivery, and monitor progress.
  • Define project scope with stakeholders, including responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate detailed design activities, ensuring adherence to technical standards and quality expectations.
  • Review and monitor the production of calculations, including technical reviews and sign-offs.
  • Provide accurate information for project costing preparation and communicate design progress to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate tender documents, including drawings and specifications, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
  • Address day-to-day queries from the team, ensuring timely provision of relevant information for construction activities.
  • Report project variances to stakeholders and manage commissions from the design team.
  • Lead the design process, encouraging effective solutions within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with document control, archiving, and QA processes, and coach junior staff on their usage.
  • Contribute to technical excellence through technical reviews and concept design participation.
  • Develop positive professional relationships with the design team, facilitating open communication about project progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and engage with other teams.
  • Identify and address potential risk issues and follow established commercial and contracting processes.
  • Manage delegated tasks to meet deadlines and notify senior leadership of resourcing concerns.
  • Highlight additional fees or scope changes to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in building structure design, preferably in a similar role or with a strong track record.
  • Effective presentation skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in technical structural software, such as RAM, CSC, ETABS, and SAFE.
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Fluency in English, with an excellent grasp of technical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • British Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, along with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and membership to an accredited engineering body.
