Job Summary As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for designing analyzing and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings bridges dams and other infrastructure projects You will collaborate with architects contractors and other stakeholders to deliver safe efficient and cost-effective structural solutions Key Responsibilities Structural Design Develop detailed structural designs and calculations for new construction projects or modifications to existing structures Consider factors such as load capacities environmental factors and building codes Analysis Conduct structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements Evaluate the strength and stability of structures under various conditions e g wind seismic activity Material Selection Recommend appropriate construction materials based on design specifications cost-effectiveness and sustainability goals Evaluate the quality and suitability of materials for specific applications Construction Oversight Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase Review construction plans specifications and quality control measures to ensure adherence to design requirements and industry standards Risk Assessment Identify potential risks and hazards related to structural integrity Develop mitigation strategies and solutions to address structural deficiencies or failures Collaboration Work closely with architects civil engineers and other professionals to integrate structural requirements into overall project design Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met Documentation Prepare detailed engineering reports drawings and specifications Maintain accurate records of design decisions calculations and project documentation Regulatory Compliance Ensure designs and construction activities comply with local building codes zoning regulations and safety standards Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Morning shift Rotational shift Supplemental pay types Overtime pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location In person
