Job Overview:

The Operations Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, exceeding client expectations, and fostering a positive work environment. This requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver exceptional results
  • Manage stakeholders effectively to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication
  • Maintain team attrition and shrinkage rates within acceptable limits
  • Conduct performance management, providing constructive feedback and coaching to employees
  • Resolve customer complaints and address issues that require attention beyond standard employee capabilities
  • Assume responsibility for scheduling changes, employee call-ins, and staffing issues to guarantee smooth business operation
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating exceptional service standards and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Delegate tasks effectively to team members, empowering them to take ownership of their work
  • Organize daily activities, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Recruit and interview new hires to build a talented and diverse team
  • Supervise employees, provide additional training and coaching as needed, and ensure everyone performs their job duties properly
  • Train employees in safety procedures and provide updates as required
  • Address employee conflicts and problems on the job to promote a positive work environment and employee satisfaction
  • Organize promotions, spearhead marketing efforts, set up displays, educate customers and employees on promotions or specials, and manage projects as assigned
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor with 3+ years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Superior communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Graduate in any stream
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company's success
