Lead Credit Risk Strategist

Overview:

As a Lead Credit Risk Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing high-impact risk solutions across credit risk domains. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the implementation of risk strategies and build strong relationships with internal and partner teams for smooth execution of risk initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk strategies that optimize revenue and approval rates
  • Collaborate with data science teams to recommend and support deployment of credit risk decisioning and scoring models
  • Build risk scorecards leveraging both internal and external data for use in underwriting and account reviews

Requirements:

  • Quantitative degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing data using SQL and tools like Python, R, or Databricks in a finance or analytics role
  • 2+ years of experience leading high-performing analytics teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working with non-traditional data sources is a plus
