Senior Credit Analyst

Job Overview:

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment of large corporate customers. You will work closely with various stakeholders to review customer cases, assess credit proposals, and document checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out due diligence on corporate customers, including reviewing annual reports, borrower/promoter background, and credit notes.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, business model review, and management risk analysis.
  • Analyze cashflows and working capital, preparing excel models as required.
  • Review and evaluate credit proposals, assigning internal ratings to customers and reviewing early warning triggers.
  • Prepare recommendation notes and propose recommendations to top management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA/MBA from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in credit evaluation in a bank (not NBFC).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
