Credit Manager

The Credit Specialist plays a crucial role in evaluating customer creditworthiness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing receivables to drive business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating customer credit, setting limits, and verifying Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance.
- Monitoring receivables, following up on overdue accounts, and handling collections efficiently.
- Coordinating with legal and collection agencies for dispute resolution and negotiation.
- Preparing management information reports (MIS) on aging, days sales outstanding (DSO), and collection trends, as well as performing reconciliations.
- Conducting regular credit review meetings with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and address concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and other statutory requirements.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong credit analysis and financial evaluation skills, with proficiency in Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent legal recovery and compliance expertise, with the ability to coordinate cross-functionally.
