Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI governance and lifecycle management, as well as experience working with Microsoft Fabric.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the current Power BI tenant environment, identifying and documenting inactive or redundant workspaces, and defining and implementing governance structures for workspace creation, ownership, access, and lifecycle.

Additionally, they will customize FUAM reports and metrics to support monitoring, alerting, and usage insights, collaborate with data engineers to integrate telemetry data into Microsoft Fabric, and create reusable templates or processes for long-term workspace monitoring and governance.

They will also support communication and training for workspace owners and stakeholders, provide technical documentation and handover plans at the end of the engagement, and advise business units on reporting requirements and system changes.
