As a skilled Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support in our store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, asking about their needs and preferences to provide tailored product recommendations
  • Understand customer needs and pitch relevant products and services to meet their requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including product displays and inventory management
  • Coordinate pet spa appointments and services, ensuring efficient and seamless operations
  • Process sales through the point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to make informed product pitches
  • Assist with stock management and perform opening/closing duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential
  • A passion for pets and basic knowledge of pet products is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role
  • Responsibility, punctuality, and a team player attitude are essential qualities for this position
  • Basic computer knowledge is a plus, but not required
