Job Description">

As a Senior Legal Executive, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU. Your expertise in contract reviews and negotiations will enable us to streamline our contracting process and ensure that we are getting the best possible deals.

Your role will also involve providing legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms, as well as attending customer and vendor negotiation calls with the team or independently.

In addition, you will be responsible for handling data privacy matters, including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses in various contracts, and staying current with global regulatory developments.

You will also review contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction, and draft and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to optimize the contracting process.

">Required Skills and Qualifications">

We are looking for a law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry. You should have strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.

A deep understanding of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation is essential. Knowledge of SaaS contracts is an added advantage, as is experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms.

Candidates with knowledge of employment contracts and related matters in India will also be considered.

Excellent communication skills are required, as is a five-day office presence (non-negotiable).
