Cloud Data Solutions Architect

We're seeking a skilled data solutions architect to design and implement large-scale data processing systems using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality database programming requirements.
  • Create and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Databricks by leveraging PySpark and SQL.
  • Design and implement Delta Lake tables with ACID transactions and schema evolution to support real-time and batch processing.
  • Familiarity with Unity Catalog for centralized data governance, access control, and data lineage tracking is highly desired.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, T-SQL expertise, and hands-on experience with Azure cloud tools. Experience in the healthcare domain is a plus.

Mandatory qualifications include 4-7 years of experience as a data engineer, self-driven work style, proven experience with T-SQL programming, Azure Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ADLS Gen2, and Microsoft TFS, Visual Studio, DevOps exposure.

A strong problem-solving mindset, combined with excellent time-management skills, great interpersonal and communication skills, and a sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company success are also required.

  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
