Cloud Architect Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this Cloud Solutions Architect position is an experienced Azure Cloud Professional with a strong background in Linux and cloud computing. They will design and implement multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in the Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using Azure platforms IAAS, PaaS.
  • Provide architectural guidance for Azure solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of work experience with Linux and 3+ years of experience in Azure.
  • Strong shell scripting experience using Bash, Python or Perl.
  • Knowledge in configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
  • Good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution.
  • Excellent Communication skills and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Process Knowledge on Incident handling and Change Management.
