Cloud Integration Developer

About the Role:

The objectives of this assignment are to onboard a Microsoft Azure Integration and Container Specialist who focuses on designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based integration solutions and containerized applications. This role blends expertise in Azure services, containers, and integration technologies to enable scalable, secure, and efficient services.

  • Key focus areas include:
  • Development of cloud-based integration platforms: Utilize Azure services to maintain scalable and reliable communication between applications and services.
  • Implementation of event-driven architecture: Employ APIs and message queues to decouple applications and services, ensuring responsive and resilient system design.
  • API Management: Use Azure API Management (APIM) to create, publish, secure, monitor, and analyze APIs.
  • Designing and developing RIP software components and modules using Azure services and other provided tools.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities
  1. The Cloud Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable cloud integration patterns to support digital transformation initiatives. The consultant will work closely with the project team to understand requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure the delivery of high-quality integration systems.
  2. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integration systems to ensure functionality and performance.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-based solutions with existing systems.
  4. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for integration-related issues.
  5. Documenting all development processes, code changes, and system configurations.
  6. Ensuring compliance with standards and best practices in software development.
  7. Training and mentoring junior developers on cloud integration technologies and methodologies.
Requirements and Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)

The ideal candidate for the Cloud Integration Developer role must possess the following qualifications:

  • Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying applications using Azure services, microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong understanding of serverless container services, state management, service invocation, and message queues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resource provisioning, access controls, and cost management within Azure Resource Groups.
  • Experience with API Management (APIM) for creating, publishing, securing, monitoring, and analyzing APIs.
  • Educational Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Desirable - Advanced certifications in Azure technologies are highly desirable.
