Senior Platform Software Engineer

We're seeking an exceptional software engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled developer with experience in designing and developing back-end SaaS applications, object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and data modeling. They will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that product features are designed and delivered according to business requirements.

  • Create high-throughput, low-latency software for business-critical processes
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain core pieces of our platform
  • Develop end-to-end new features and functionality
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and generate new ideas

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in product engineering
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spring Boot
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, design, and debugging skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to pick up and apply new technologies quickly
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with common dev ops and tools is a plus
