Enterprise Java Developer Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable web applications using Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a core member of an agile team to drive user story analysis, design, and implementation of responsive web applications using best engineering practices.
  • Perform hands-on software development, focusing on writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, and code reviews within ongoing sprints.
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.
  • Manage your own time and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and other frontend engineers to implement versatile solutions for challenging web development problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent 34 years of work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in Java, demonstrating good Java knowledge.
  • Able to demonstrate solid web fundamentals and HTTP protocol knowledge.
  • Good attitude, communication skills, willingness to learn, and collaborate.
  • 5 years of experience developing Java applications in an enterprise setting, with experience working with Java 11 and above being a plus.
  • Experience working with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard being a plus.
  • 23 years of recent experience working in JavaScript on Node.js stack being a plus.
  • 3 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing including frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito.
  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems.
