Risk Management Specialist Role

At a leading financial institution, we seek an experienced professional to manage risk and ensure data accuracy. The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts to migrate large datasets seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in capital markets, including asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, Futures & Options, ABS, and MBS.
  • Possess knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio valuation principles.
  • Familiarity with market reference data and corporate actions.
  • Analyze and reconcile data discrepancies in detail.
  • Develop and implement source system data analysis to manage large datasets effectively.

Data Conversion & Testing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document data conversion requirements.
  • Execute data conversion and testing between core systems.
  • Perform data cleaning, scrubbing, and consistency checks.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data migration processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
