Job Title: Store Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented pharmacist to manage and oversee pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of prescription decoding, medical abbreviations, and handwriting recognition.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend prescriptions at the sales counter and ensure accurate dispensing.
  • Manage stock levels, including sourcing medications from in-house pharmacies when needed.
  • Provide patients with detailed information on medication usage, potential side effects, and health advice.
  • Maintain a register for delivery requests and follow up to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medicines.
  • Manage inbound calls, providing drug information, patient education, and responding to queries.
  • Assist with cash transactions and billing at the counter when needed.
  • E nsure proper storage and security measures are in place for all medications.
  • Conduct thorough checks of received stock before entering data into the system.
  • Regularly perform physical stock counts and verify fast-moving items.

Requirements & Skill:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
  • Valid pharmacist license as per state or national regulations.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Key Skills & Competence:

  • In-depth understanding of drug interactions, side effects, and alternative medications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and industry best practices.
