F&B Operations Trainer

As a key member of the AccorHotel team, the FB Operational Trainer plays a vital role in developing and implementing learning and development programs for the Food and Beverage division. This position involves collaborating with senior management to design and deliver training initiatives that meet the individual and organizational needs of the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Director of Food and Beverage and Director of Culinary in planning, managing, and administering pre-opening training plans and requirements.
- Work alongside a pool of departmental trainers to ensure regular and consistent departmental training is delivered to meet the needs of all operational departments.
- Promote and inform employees about all training programs, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying excellent customer service and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Help colleagues identify specific behaviors that will contribute to service excellence, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
- Ensure colleagues receive ongoing training to understand guest expectations, using effective training methods to ensure a good understanding of guest satisfaction and demonstration of guest satisfaction skills.
- Meet with departmental trainers on a regular basis to support training efforts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Partner with operational leaders to assess if employees demonstrate effective technical and leadership skills, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted training programs.
- Review comment cards, guest satisfaction results, and other data to identify areas of improvement, ensuring all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization's mission and vision.
- Identify performance gaps and work with managers to develop and implement appropriate training to improve performance, aligning current training and development programs to effectively impact key business indicators.
- Participate in the development of the Training budget as required for the F&B Division, managing department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in F&B Service and training in a luxury hotel environment.
- Experience creating training content in a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential for success in this role.
- Comfortable in delivering to senior management at all levels of the organization, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy is imperative for this position.
- A good team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders and to cope with strategies to achieve sales targets, contribution objectives, and the efficient use of resources.
- Proven team management skills, leading, motivating, and managing assigned team members to effectively deliver learning goals and objectives.
