Job Role: Payroll Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating payroll activities across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with HR teams to manage salary-related inputs, loan/advance deductions, and other payroll requirements.
  • Verifying employee compensation data and comparing it with the previous month to track changes in salary.
  • Working closely with payroll vendors to ensure accurate processing of payroll for all locations.
  • Transmitting payroll and reimbursement inputs accurately into payroll vendor software.
  • Monitoring fund availability and communicating with treasury teams to ensure sufficient funds for payroll processing.
  • Reviewing and processing final salary registers provided by vendors, ensuring accuracy on an employee-by-employee basis.
  • Sharing relevant accruals related to payroll, PTO, and leave encashments with accounting teams.
  • Ensuring timely processing of full and final settlements for departing employees.
  • Overseeing the processing of monthly salaries and reimbursement payments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Handling employee tax deductions based on declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Resolving any payroll-related queries promptly and effectively, interacting with employees as needed.
  • Providing necessary documentation and assistance to auditors during audits.
  • Conducting payroll analysis to compare changes from the previous month, identifying increases or decreases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Familiarity with social security regulations and tax laws.
