Job Role: Payroll Manager
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating payroll activities across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with HR teams to manage salary-related inputs, loan/advance deductions, and other payroll requirements.
- Verifying employee compensation data and comparing it with the previous month to track changes in salary.
- Working closely with payroll vendors to ensure accurate processing of payroll for all locations.
- Transmitting payroll and reimbursement inputs accurately into payroll vendor software.
- Monitoring fund availability and communicating with treasury teams to ensure sufficient funds for payroll processing.
- Reviewing and processing final salary registers provided by vendors, ensuring accuracy on an employee-by-employee basis.
- Sharing relevant accruals related to payroll, PTO, and leave encashments with accounting teams.
- Ensuring timely processing of full and final settlements for departing employees.
- Overseeing the processing of monthly salaries and reimbursement payments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Handling employee tax deductions based on declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Resolving any payroll-related queries promptly and effectively, interacting with employees as needed.
- Providing necessary documentation and assistance to auditors during audits.
- Conducting payroll analysis to compare changes from the previous month, identifying increases or decreases.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Familiarity with social security regulations and tax laws.
