Plant Operations Director

We are seeking a visionary Operational Excellence Manager to spearhead end-to-end plant operations at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring quality, optimizing production efficiency, and meeting business objectives in line with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee daily plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, safety, and supply chain.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, process efficiency, and cost optimization through Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (TS 16949 / IATF / ISO) and regulatory requirements by implementing effective systems and processes.
- Implement operational excellence initiatives, including lean manufacturing, TPM, and other performance improvement strategies.
- Develop and implement capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet delivery commitments and optimize production workflows.
- Monitor and control operational budgets, costs, and CAPEX planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Champion workplace safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance, fostering a culture of zero incidents and minimal environmental impact.
- Build and lead high-performing plant teams, developing a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with senior management, supply chain partners, and customers to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 18-25 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5+ years in a plant leadership role.
They should have hands-on expertise in precision components / automotive components manufacturing, strong exposure to CNC machining, die casting, forging, assembly, and automation, as well as a proven track record of implementing Lean and TPM practices, driving efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and quality excellence.
A strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills are also essential for this role, requiring the ability to drive cultural transformation, develop talent, and foster a collaborative work environment.
