Manufacturing Operations Director Position

The role of a Manufacturing Operations Director is crucial in overseeing the daily operations of a plant, ensuring that all equipment functions effectively.

Responsibilities include monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as needed to meet manufacturing goals. This involves managing the plant's profit and loss (P&L) while implementing large-scale transformations and strategic changes to drive growth.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, standards, and procedures for engineering and technical work. Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations is also essential.

In addition, you will coordinate with different departments for smooth operation and oversee plant infrastructure and equipment maintenance. Effective communication skills are vital to manage information flow across the organization.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess an engineering degree from a Tier I institute and have a minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial products or auto ancillaries. An MBA is highly preferred. You must have thorough knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

Strong leadership and team management skills are necessary to run operations effectively. The ability to collaborate with global stakeholders and exhibit excellent communication skills to manage information flow is also essential.
