Compensation Strategist Job Description

The role of Compensation Strategist involves executing and communicating the company's Expanded Share Ownership strategy, sitting within the Total Rewards function in HR. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, responsible for delivering on pre-determined objectives and working closely with senior stakeholders.

The Compensation Strategist will lead program socialization activities, including engagement with senior business leaders, to effectively communicate the strategy and its benefits. They will also engage with other project managers and portfolio leads to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities, ensuring successful implementation.

This is a remote opportunity requiring strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to solving problems and anticipating challenges. The ideal candidate should have excellent client relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with direct experience working with senior executives.

The requirements for this role include:

  • Experience developing/implementing deferred compensation strategies, specifically cash compensation into public company stock, in complex, global organisations.
  • Deep knowledge of public company equity compensation.
  • Exceptional client relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including direct experience with senior executives (C-suite).

Desirable qualifications include experience navigating regulatory requirements, working in a remote/hybrid manner, and a degree or equivalent in human resources, business, or related field.
