Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to lead our sustainability division. As Chief HSE Strategist, you will develop and implement a comprehensive HSE strategy that aligns with our organization's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain a robust HSE strategy
  2. Ensure compliance with all applicable Acts, regulations, standards, and permits
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures
  4. Investigate and analyze incidents to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
  5. Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels
  6. Track and report on key HSE performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a metal and mining industry
  • Approved Safety Officer as per Odisha Factory Act
  • Strong knowledge of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Experience in greenfield/brownfield expansion projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
