Financial Operations Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in similar roles with small-medium sized companies or technology start-ups. Prior experience in e-commerce accounting is an added plus.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be involved in various activities such as:

  • Managing accounting processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Overseeing payroll operations;
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Preparing financial statements and reports;
  • Forecasting cash flow positions and borrowing needs;
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, partners, and agencies;
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures;

Requirements:

  • Qualified/Inter Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of experience in similar roles;
  • Prior experience working in e-commerce accounting is an added plus;
  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and problem-solve for aspects that you or the team may encounter for the first time;
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills;
