Network Security Specialist

This position involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with remote access internet VPN products, managed security and network services, and Software as a Service Products (SaaS). Key responsibilities include phone/chat/email support, level I support, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:- Phone/Chat/Email Support:
- Consistently apply handling processes.
- Log and track all communications received into the ticketing system.
- Establish a quality working relationship with customers.
- Follow standards to resolve specific problems.
- Escalate issues within defined standards.
- Level I Support:
- Research and resolve caller inquiries by utilizing established procedures and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and communications issues.
- Meet individual metrics for Level 1 Support Engineer.
- Identify and suggest process improvements.
- Participate in departmental training activities.
- Knowledge of network protocols including SSH, ICMP, TCPIP, Network Address Translation (NAT), SNMP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, and VLANs.
- Ability to interpret network traffic analysis tools such as Ethereal (Wireshark).
- Effective interpersonal and consulting skills.
- Hands-on experience with Meraki and Fortinet firewalls.
- Ability to collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
