Job Overview

As a network cybersecurity specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing secure internet access solutions to ensure seamless connectivity for internal customers, applications, and cloud-based infrastructure.

  • Secure Internet Access: Implement, configure, and troubleshoot the Zscaler Secure Internet Access platform to provide secure and effective internet access.
  • Firewall Support: Manage and support next-generation firewalls, including policy design, rule optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • DDoS Protection: Implement and manage DDoS protection solutions with cloud scrubbing technology to prevent cyber threats.
  • Remote Access Technologies: Support and manage advanced remote access technologies to ensure secure connectivity for remote users.
  • Incident Response: Collaborate with the digital security team to respond to security incidents and ensure swift resolution.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of networking experience with a focus on support, including network infrastructure, data center technologies, and cloud computing.
  • Network troubleshooting skills, including the use of Wireshark and other network tools.
  • SSL, HTTP/HTTPS troubleshooting via browsers.
  • Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 routing, DNS, load balancing, PAC files, proxies, and other layer 2-7 concepts.
  • Experience with AAA systems such as LDAP, MS AD, ID tokenization (SAML/OAuth).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • 2+ years of data loss prevention experience.
  • GRE and IPSec tunnel setup and troubleshooting.
  • General firewall and packet filtering experience.
  • DDoS support experience.
  • Network or security certifications such as CISSP, PCSAE, PCCSE, CCNP, CCIE.
  • Experience with Zscaler Secure Internet Access platform.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices.
