Cloud Network Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Network Automation specialist to design, implement and automate cloud-based network solutions.

This role will drive the transformation and automation of network operations ensuring scalable secure and highly available connectivity across multi-cloud environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud networking architectures using Azure GCP and/or OCI.
  • Lead the automation of network provisioning configuration and monitoring using tools such as Terraform Ansible and Python.
  • Develop and enforce networking best practices and security standards across cloud environments.
  • Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines to support Infrastructure as Code IaC.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with security DevOps and application teams to ensure optimal network performance and compliance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field Master's preferred.
  • Strong experience in network engineering 7+ years with 5+ years focused on cloud networking and automation.
  • Deep expertise in Azure GCP networking services.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills in Python Go or similar languages.
  • Proven experience with Terraform Ansible in the context of infrastructure automation tools.
  • Familiarity with container networking Kubernetes service mesh is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of routing protocols firewalls DNS and load balancing.
  • Experience with multi-cloud hub spoke architecture.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and hybrid network architectures.
  • Manage network modules in GitHub.
  • GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Must have solid network experience.
  • Experience with Network automation in Azure and GCP building networks.
  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect GCP Solutions Architect CCNP/CCIE or similar are a strong plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with network observability tools.
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps principles.
