As a skilled Unified Voice & Firewall Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between enterprise voice collaboration systems and network firewall security. Key responsibilities include administering and supporting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center, managing voice recording platforms, overseeing certificate lifecycle management, monitoring performance using LogicMonitor or similar tools, configuring and administering firewalls, implementing firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs to secure enterprise networks, and troubleshooting issues across both voice and security domains to maintain uptime and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center.
  • Manage voice recording platforms.
  • Oversee certificate lifecycle management.
  • Monitor performance using LogicMonitor or similar tools.
  • Configure and administer firewalls.
  • Implement firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs to secure enterprise networks.
  • Troubleshoot issues across both voice and security domains to maintain uptime and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in Voice/UC engineering and Firewall administration.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of CUCM, Webex, SIP trunks, and voice integration.
  • Expertise in Cisco ASA/FTD and Fortinet FortiGate.
  • Experience managing certificates, PKI, and secure communications.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like WhatsUp Gold, LogicMonitor, or SolarWinds.
  • Relevant certifications are highly preferred.
