Senior IT Network Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Network Executive to manage and optimize our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation: Plan, design, and implement network solutions that meet organizational needs.

Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, providing technical support to users and departments.

Network Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal operation.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.

Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications.

Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers for network equipment and services.

Training & Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to junior network staff and other IT personnel. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in network administration and support.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

Experience with routing and switching technologies.

Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security practices.

Knowledge of wireless technologies and VoIP systems. Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Working Conditions

Full-time position with occasional on-call responsibilities.

May require travel to different company locations.
