Job Title: Server Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
  • Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage server patching, performance tuning and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup or other tools.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and other core infrastructure services.
  • Provide L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades and cloud migration projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory and related services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g. AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE)
  • Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, PRTG, SCOM)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a server engineer. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for administering, monitoring and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Microsoft Azure services, including configuring and managing services, implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery strategies, and maintaining infrastructure documentation, change management and asset tracking.
