As a key player in our Global Networks team, you will focus on crafting and enhancing network services and solutions to ensure exceptional experiences for Marriott Associates and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, engineer, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN/WiFi networks for the Corporate Network product, adhering to industry standards, architecture, security, privacy, compliance, etc.
  • Network service and circuit capacity management
  • Project planning and delivery including hardware and software specification, vendor coordination, and full operational handover
  • Change planning and run book review
  • Governance of third-party service providers
  • Level 3 escalation support for operational issues and/or outages
  • Collaboration with other key teams including Network Architects, Test and Certification, Information Security, Finance, Procurement, etc.
  • Participation in product strategy and planning
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.
  • Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN (Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN experience preferred) including policy configuration, site provisioning, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures.
  • Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast.
  • Skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with telco and ISP networks.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead network design and implementation projects independently or as part of a team.
