SQL Server Database Migration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert in SQL Server database administration to lead our team's efforts in upgrading, migrating, and maintaining mission-critical databases.
About the Role
- Key responsibilities include leading and executing SQL Server upgrade projects, designing and configuring Always On Availability Groups, and planning and implementing database migrations to AWS with minimal downtime.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL Server upgrades, Always On Availability Groups, and cloud migrations (AWS preferred).
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments is required.
- Proven experience upgrading SQL Server to 2022 in production environments is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and other HA/DR solutions is necessary.
- Hands-on experience with AWS database migration (DMS, RDS, EC2, or hybrid solutions) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization is required.
- Solid understanding of backup/recovery strategies and database security is necessary.
